DRAFT REVIEW: Hogwild India Pale Ale
RATING
94

Hogwild’s sticky caramel and pine scents get a bright swirl of juicy tangerine for a bouquet that’s far more traditional than the beer’s flavor profile. On the tongue, a combination of wildflower, passionfruit and orange hop notes is enchanting; bready, lightly toasted malts give these stunning notes a stage to play. Mild bitterness gently scrubs the malts away, leaving behind the exotic hops for a few more welcomed beats. With its rare hop profile and well-crafted supporting malts, this IPA is an absolute pleasure.
