DRAFT REVIEW: BABA Black Lager
RATING
88

A mélange of malt scents rise from a rich, tan head to greet the nose. Sweet caramel blends with light roasted malts, dark chocolate and fresh berry. This spritzy beer shoots back, but the tongue manages to grab hold of delicately balanced caramel and dark chocolate malt flavors. Roasted malts add an edge to the
sweeter notes, and earthy hops arrive mid-sip to give the swallow a bit more depth. Light bitterness contributes a touch of strength to the beer’s drying carbonation, as dark chocolate rides long into the finish.
