Juicy orange and dank pine blossom above C-Note’s toffee, toasty malt backbone, which gains a nutty complexity during the swallow. While this beer is undoubtedly focused on its hop flavors and aggressive bitterness, its beauty is in its balance: Despite its high IBU count, its malt foundation props up the headlining citrusy, piney hops.
