DRAFT REVIEW: Best Brown Ale
RATING
84

Best Brown Ale pours clear dark copper with a thin, white head that clings to the sides of the glass. Caramel scents weave sweetness through this beer’s dark toasty malt aroma while earthy hops give it an edge. Biscuit flavors splash down first and reach all the way to the back of the mouth, creating a soft foundation for a sweet layer of toffee. Cohesive from beginning to end, this beer only lacks weight: A bit more hops and robust malt complexity would elevate its profile.
