DRAFT REVIEW: Hobgoblin
RATING
86

This glassy brown brew’s whispery white head quickly vanishes after the pour. Rich caramel and nutty scents float to the nose, blending with spicy hops for an authentic British ale aroma. While this beer’s quaffable, its flavor is as straightforward as its aroma: Thick caramel runs over a bed of toasted bread crust, as a
drying wave follows closely behind. Earthy hops poke through the malts in the back, but dryness dominates the mouth, finishing clean on the tongue.
