DRAFT REVIEW: B.B. Burgerbrau
RATING
85

This gleaming gold pilsner props up a delicate, fleeting white head while a simple bouquet kisses the nose: Pie crust scents soften sharp spicy hops, creating an aroma that’s both earthy and sweet. As crackerlike malts rush to the back, vibrant bubbles follow suit, scouring the tongue throughout the sip. A hoppy edge emerges just before the swallow, giving this refreshing brew a peppery kick that lasts into the finish. While B.B. Bürgerbraü could benefit from more robust malt sweetness, its quaffable effervescence is a hallmark quality of the style.
