Gutch

RATING
95

Subtle hints of light roast coffee and butter (allowable in the style) round off this ale’s aroma of ripe Red Delicious apples, toffee, wet bark and flower stems. Mossy, earthy hop flavors lead the tongue to a lift of toast and sweet apple, with caramel at the finish. Balanced and direct, each sip is substantial—with a commendably thick body given the low ABV—but leaves the palate refreshed.
