Great Divide Colette

Your Daily Pint for Tuesday, July 1, 2014: GREAT DIVIDE COLETTE

What it is: A seasonal saison from Colorado

What it tastes like: An absolute delight (and office favorite), Colette is sweet and fruity, with beautiful tart lemon and juicy orange flowing easily through the swallow. Haylike flavors balance the sweetness, while white pepper enlivens the sip.  It finishes dry and peppery, perfectly refreshing for capping off a day in the office, or celebrating a (ahem) big victory.

So, we’ve got Belgium on the brain: Colette’s crafted in the traditional Belgian saison style, and is a tribute to the brew enjoyed by farm workers in that country for centuries. Maybe today we feel a little less warm about the country that’s inspired such good beer (with World Cup face-off mere moments away), but this wonderful saison proves we can beat the Belgians at their own game
