Your Daily Pint for Saturday, June 28, 2014 is: CAMBRIDGE FLOWER CHILD
What it is: a 6.5%-ABV American IPA.
What it tastes like: An intense, vivid aroma bursts out of the glass with pineapple, grapefruit and orange scents. Tropical fruits blend with grapefruit and orange on the tongue for a lively, bright swallow; just a touch of bready malts anchors the sip. Gentle bitterness cleans up the swallow, leaving behind the slightest touch of grapefruit.
Quarter-century: This year, Cambridge is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the release of its 25th Anniversary Imperial Amber, with sales benefiting the East End House children’s charity.
Other favorites: We can’t get enough of Sgt. Pepper Farmhouse Ale, a delicious saison brewed with a variety of peppercorns.
