DRAFT REVIEW: Pilsner
RATING
85

Incredibly light, clear, and straw-hued, Schell’s pilsner exudes a hop-forward aroma with dried flower and lemony qualities that dominate the softer sugary notes. The flavors are aggressive; sweet honeylike notes in the beginning do little to prepare the palate for the powerful citrusy, peppery hops that pack an assertive bitterness. With a medium body and prickly carbonation bolstered by mild alcohol warmth, the beer seems too big for the style, but still presents a palatable flavor profile.
