DRAFT REVIEW: Summer Ale
RATING
91

A whispery white head sits above this beer’s light golden body, emitting a freshness that wafts up to the nose and engages the palate. Light fruits, like pear and apple, mix with subtle malts and tickle the nostrils with a cotton candylike sweetness. On the palate, biscuity malts take control of the tongue’s top, while a rush of hop bitterness works on its sides, pleasantly rustling the taste buds. This beer’s effervescent, with little bubbles exploding in the mouth. As the liquid washes down the throat, sweet malts and subtle fruit notes emerge in the back, just as the flavor concludes with gratifying, crisp dryness.
