The Love is wheat-centric, from its wheat-laden aroma to its deep-sinking swallow. This hazy, almost opaque brew wears a quickly dissipating, off-white head. A tart wheat flavor sinks into the tongue and glides smoothly into a palatable banana note. Clove perkiness, while apparent, is tempered, but the brew still flows strong and seamlessly through the mouth on those banana waves. Its simple, well-melded flavors come to a sweet and gently musty finish, and its ability to adopt spiciness but not overwhelm the palate make it an excellent candidate for food pairing. |
