The country's first certified organic brewery offers up this incredible porter. The subtle aroma may be mild, but it isn't weak: There are obvious chocolate and coffee notes as well as fresh hops, but they are all so soft, you can almost miss them. The color is fairly light for a porter (and the head is even lighter), and while the flavor isn't necessarily strong, it is assertive and refreshing. A delightful example of the style, this porter is easily the best organic beer we've sampled.
