DRAFT REVIEW: Denver Pale Ale
RATING
90

Few breweries can boast as many impressive awards and medals as Great Divide, and even fewer can similarly boast winning a Great American Beer Festival medal just three months after brewing its first batch. The golden-color Denver Pale Ale is just one more of Great Divide's skillfully crafted, well-balanced brews. Departing from the style's English roots, the Denver Pale Ale possesses a clean American hop aroma and flavor. Fortunately for the drinker, those non-traditional hops get along well with the slightly sweet European malts before maturing into a moderately bitter finish. Although this English Pale Ale has a bit more carbonic bite than others of its ilk, it is not distracting and gives the beer a solid head.
