DRAFT REVIEW: Jeremiah Red
RATING
85

Berry-kissed, biscuity scents and a surpris-ingly sugary sweetness flutter up from the glass, heralding what’s to come in the malt-dominant, just-shy-of-sugary swallow. Sweet dark fruits splash on the tongue with toasted, biscuit notes that stretch all the way back; a pleasant nuttiness emerges mid-sip. Jeremiah’s elevated ABV’s noticeable but not distracting; the alcohol adds a touch of spice to the swallow. The creamy body manages to carry the sweet flavors without a cloying finish, but a stronger hop bitterness would help level out the profile.
