DRAFT REVIEW: Golden Road Hefeweizen
RATING
88

This cloudy brew fills the air with thick banana and clove scents, while juicy pear pushes sweetness through the aroma. On the tongue, doughy yeast notes sink deep into the wheat base. Clove spiciness tickles the mouth, and tangy orange booms in the back. The heavy yeast presence suspended in the beer might be shocking for novice drinkers, but Golden Road remains a deeply flavorful, refreshingly dry example of the style; it’s an accessible summer beer inside an equally accessible can.
