DRAFT REVIEW: St-Feuillien Grand Cru
RATING
98

Vibrant lemon, pear and black pepper scents play above this beer’s delicate white lacing. Grand Cru explodes in the mouth with engaging Belgian flavors: Sweet grains tumble over the tongue, balancing earthy white pepper along the way. Candied lemon peel adds sweetness, while effervescent carbonation and a slight hop bitterness keep the liquid light on the tongue. Grand Cru’s 9.5% ABV is phenomenally well-hidden, and the clean finish is a masterful end to such a bright, lively beer.
