DRAFT REVIEW: Oasis
RATING
89

This beer’s dark orange hue fills the glass while its everlasting white head fizzes above. The aroma’s decidedly malt forward: Toasted, slightly toffee-sweet malts fill the air, while ornamental orange peel and dank, piney scents add hoppy accents. This lighter-than-average imperial IPA passes over the tongue with skillful balance: Toasted biscuit flavors with a hint of caramel sweetness create a solid foundation as floral and piney hop notes emerge mid-sip. Gentle bitterness pushes back against the malts for a mild finish that wraps up refreshingly dry.
