Beneath a fluffy, white head, this beer glows yellow. Muted earthy hop scents add round strokes to Endless River’s subdued grainy aroma. Like the bouquet, sweet grains take the lead in the taste, landing on the tongue with fruity esters. Spicy, earthy hops punctuate the sweetness mid-sip, leading to a biting, bitter and dry finish. This beer’s still lovely and quaffable, but a less aggressive finish would allow the more nuanced fruitiness to last through the swallow. |
