DRAFT REVIEW: Devil Dancer
RATING
84

This burnt orange beer expresses itself deeply with saturated, wet hop aromas and sticky alcohol that weighs in the nose. This just might be the imperial IPA designed for the barleywine lover: Heavy alcohol runs from front to back in the swallow. Burnt sugar and caramel sweetness lay into the tongue while a big, clutching hop bitterness pulls through the back of the flavor. Balancing the heavy sweetness, earthy hops make a profound appearance, though alcohol carries the torch. Drink this from a snifter and linger over it, or, better yet, let it age awhile; the flavors are inherently excellent, but could use time to mature.
