The Kalamath St. location is a great choice if you find yourself in Denver, but if you are looking for a true craft brewing experience, make your way a few hours west to the ski town the brewery's named for. Breckenridge's brewers will be happy to give you a tour and pour you a flight of their ales, especially their flagship brew, Avalanche Amber. It's a smooth beer with a minor fruit flavor. The malt and hops were fresh, which translates well into the taste.
