As I’ve posted here before, there’s no shortage of seasonal races featuring beer.

But a 70-mile beer relay? That’s not something you see every day.

The Bend Beer Chase is a one day relay on Oct. 11 with 6 person-teams and 70 miles that covers Central Oregon craft brews. Breweries will be providing samples, games and prizes to the runners along the course.

The 6Keg at the end is run by everyone on the team – or individuals can just do that portion – and will stop at 6 breweries, including Worthy, Wild Ride, Smith Rock, Three Creeks, Bendistillery, Silver Moon, Brend Brewing, 10 barrel, Deschutes, Rat Hole and Crux.
