Pick your favorite mead: Even frozen, its flavor shines in these pops. Swap in raspberries or strawberries and trade the basil for mint or even thyme; adjust the honey to taste depending on the sweetness of the fruit.

Makes: 8

Ingredients:
  • 212 cups fresh blueberries
  • 12 cup mead
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil

Instructions:

1. Puree the blueberries, mead and honey in a blender until mostly smooth. Add the basil and pulse to combine.
2. Put about 1/4 cup blueberry mixture in each of 8 frozen treat molds. Insert frozen treat sticks and freeze until firm, at least 4 hours.
